Sims & Associates, Inc. was established in 1987 by Idan Sims to provide public relations and marketing communications services to companies in a range of industries, with emphasis on business-to-business products and services and financial and professional services. The firm has considerable experience serving U.S. and international law firms, segments of the real estate industry, health care providers, banks and investment companies, as well as organizations that serve them, often involving the development and implementation of effective media relations strategies.

Mr. Sims served as vice president and manager of international public relations of The Chase Manhattan Bank. Mr. Sims later joined Hill and Knowlton, Inc., where he developed and implemented public relations programs for U.S. and international corporations, banks and government agencies. He subsequently served at The Rowland Company as senior vice president-corporate public relations, where he was responsible for creation and supervision of public relations programs for U.S. and Japanese consumer and industrial product companies and banks. After Rowland's acquisition by Saatchi & Saatchi, he was named executive vice president and general manager of Creamer Dickson Basford-NY, which was purchased by the WCRS Group.
